We’ve had such great feedback since the launch of Jane, that we’re constantly looking for ways for our readers to connect with our content and share with their friends. So, we’ve made a few upgrades to the site and we’re excited to show and tell you about them now!
Tweetmeme
Although you can tweet any post on Janes-List.com with our Sociable bar, we added the Tweetmeme button to make it even easier to retweet our posts on Twitter. Plus, by clicking the Tweetmeme button, you aggregate the post among the most popular links on Twitter on a website that categorizes and organizes them.
Commenting
We’ve installed a new comment system on Janes-List.com that is more interactive. You can comment in a few different ways now. Of course the easiest way is to fill out the form with your name and email – then you can comment instantly. But the beauty of visiting Disqus.com and creating an account is that you can use the same login to comment on many popular blogs and then track all your comments in a single destination. Disqus also gives you the option to integrate your comments with social networking sites Facebook, Friendfeed, Twitter, Flickr, LinkedIn, Delicious and Tumblr. Simply, we think that when you’re using Disqus, you’ll find it easier and more fun to contribute comments to blogs.
Facebook Connect
For those of you who have Facebook accounts, now Janes-List.com integrates seamlessly. Sign in to your Facebook account, by clicking the blue Facebook Connect button in the comment section. Doing so allows you to connect your account with the information on our site, so when you publish a comment, you have the option to also post it on your Facebook wall. The best part of logging in with
Facebook Connect is that your Facbeook privacy settings follow you, so you can feel as safe commenting on websites as you do surfing Facebook.
